I cannot locate the dates of Southend’s league matches in the period from 1906 to 1919, so although I know Alec Birnie played for the team during this period, I have few details of their time with the club. League appearances and goals during that period are not currently known.

If you have any better details, I’d be most grateful to learn them and would happily credit you on this page.
